We offer donors who contribute
$25,000 or more an opportunity to experience philanthropy in action
and an unparalleled adventure in a two-week personalized tour of
Tanzania, East Africa, led by Lundy Foundation President Vic Dukay
and Lundy’s local Tanzanian team.
Your
trip will include a visit to several children's centers, where
you will be met by the village chief and executive council for a
guided tour of the village and the Children’s Center. You’ll
have lunch with the children and elders who live there. Villagers
will share their culture through tribal African dance and art. You
can choose to spend an extra day or two in the village, or to tour
the nearby countryside.
Optional excursions include a
world-class eco-safari at Ngorongoro
Crater Lodge, a safari at Serengeti
National Park, a walking tour of Mt.
Kilimanjaro, and an exploration of the Seychelle
Islands. Each trip, including travel dates, will be tailored
to suit your needs. Donors will be responsible for their own travel
expenses. The Lundy Foundation will arrange for all travel (including
air and hotel reservations, ground transportation, optional tours,
meals, and translation services) and will assist travelers with
health and security issues. British Airways, a major Lundy sponsor,
will provide travel to and from the U.S./Africa in First, Business,
World Traveler Plus or Coach class at 50 percent to 70 percent off
published fares.
